Replacement Switch for early Verner Panton Panthella Lamp, Louis Poulsen
This replacement switch is for early lamp with in the housing integrated switch with the ball cap.
Base plate, ball cap and screws are not included.
This switch is on-off only, not for 3 step grading brightness. Original it was not done with the switch, but with a special bulb.
If you need the screws with the switch just let us know.
Ball Cap
We had some customer asking for the ball cap. Unfortunately they are no longer available.
But I made a fake for a restoration we had in the workshop. It doesn’t have that edge around as the original, but once installed, you won’t notice any difference.
You actually just need to clip it on the switch button, but it might need to secure it with a drop of glue.
A drop of glue in the small hole in the ball is enough for that (but be careful, though, that the glue doesn’t run into the switch.)
The ball is white. If your lamp is older and a bit yellowed, there may be a color difference.
