Good to Know – Herman Miller Vitra Stacking Chairs

Herman Miller and Vitra manufactured stacking chairs with different stacking bases, with narrow and wide shock mount glued points.
We assume shock mounts last longer with the wide version, because stacking and unstacking mostly goes very roughly.
But for private use it looks better with narrow shock mounts.
Narrow version is compatible with all other bases, H-base, dowel base, rocking base and stacking base with narrow shock mounts.

When stacked, the seat shells do not touch and cannot be damaged.

The chairs are hooked into each other and remain in a row.
