A well known problem of vintage Eames Lounge Chairs is a crack of the seat shell from the back to the first mounting point of the seat support cross.
In order to get this problem under control, we have designed a repair panel.
With the 2-compound adhesive the sheet metal give the Lounge Chair new stability and can spend many further years of enjoyment.
Due to manufacturing variations over the years, it may happen that the repair panel, or shell must be slightly adjusted.
Set includes:
1x Strong laser cut stainless steel repair panel with 2 installed thread bushings
1x Cartouche 2- component special- adhesive 24g
1x Pair of gloves
1x Mixing stick for mixing the adhesive
1x Toothed spatula
Please proper degrease with pure Acetone (NO OTHER!!!)! Don’t skimp on glue!
