This screws are used to screw base to seat frame.
For European chairs with metric thread.
Set 1: If your screws are lost use Set 1.
Set 2: If your screws don’t grab any more use Set 2.
Sets include:
Set 1: 4 thread rolling screws (originally used)
Set 2: 4 screws + 4 square nuts (repair set for damaged and overtightened threads)
Mounting, Set 1
You need a matching Pozidriv screwdriver and a dip of oil.
A normal Philips screwdriver will destroy the screw, because thread rolling screws require some more torque to get screwed in, they cut the thread while screwing in! A dip of oil on thread (protect fabric) will help to get it in.
Mounting, Set 2
Place square nut into gap of frame and screw into the nut. It may be required to hold the square nut with a wrench (10mm) while screw in.
